And here we go with College2Startup
It’s been a ‘not so long’ ride actually, but somehow we’ve managed to come up with college2startup and put it out early. We always wanted to get the work done and release it early since it’s about the same time schools are letting out. Majority of the applicants that will be coming from college2startup are recent college graduates or undergrads looking to join a startup, hence why we are releasing it right at the beginning of summer.
The idea was born when I finished college and despite wanting to work at a startup, couldn’t find one I really liked in the middle of all the noise on job sites like Monster and CareerBuilder. Even now that I am working at a startup and I am involved in hiring new engineers, marketers etc, it’s hard to find the right demographic…hence the idea for College2Startup. Simply put, College2Startup is the HARO for startups looking for new hires.
